Listiq is designed to work primarily on your device.

We do not operate a backend service for your lists, we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Information We Process

Listiq may process the following information locally on your device:

List titles
List items and their checked/unchecked state
Layout and appearance preferences
App settings such as language, accessibility, and checkbox preferences
Optional app lock preference

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your lists, items, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Listiq does not upload this data to our servers.

3. Backups, Export, Import, and Sharing

Listiq allows you to export or save backups of your data and to import backups back into the app.

Backups are created only when you choose to export or save them.
Backups may be saved to your device storage or shared using system sharing features.
Exported backup files are not encrypted by default.
Once you export or share a backup file, its handling depends on the app, service, or storage location you choose.

4. Biometrics / Device Authentication

Listiq may offer an optional app lock feature that uses biometric or device-level authentication provided by your operating system.

Biometric data itself is not collected or stored by Listiq.
Authentication is handled by your device’s operating system through standard platform APIs.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Listiq does not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies to monitor your behavior across apps or services.

6. Third-Party Services

Listiq may use standard operating system features or platform APIs to support actions you request, such as:

file selection for importing backups,
system share sheets for exporting backups,
device biometric or local authentication.

These features are used only to provide app functionality you initiate.

7. Data Security

We aim to keep the app simple and privacy-friendly by storing data locally. However, no method of storage is perfectly secure, and exported backup files may be accessible to others if you share them or store them in an insecure location.

8. Children’s Privacy

Listiq does not knowingly collect personal data from children through remote servers or online tracking systems.
